Hs freshman having guy problems. help me out?

okay so here's the thing. i've been seeing this guy around, and he's a junior, im a freshman. [we're talking hs here] and me and my friend added him on myspace. but, he sent her a msg cuz he's never seen her around and thought it was the cops? [his words, not mine] and then they exchanged numbers and they txt now. she tell's me everything(: and this morning he txt'ed her a good morning and she told me and i freaked out and all, but that's not the point here. i want to msg him on myspace to start talking to him like my friend did, but idk what to say. should it be something like 'hey r you mina's new friend that she keeps mentioning' or should i let mina on my myspace account to talk to him for me, or what? please and thankyou.
