I'm wanting to become a Therapist?

I am in my second semester of college I have figured out what I want tobe, I want to be an Equestrian Therapist. I love kids and horses but then I got to thinking, Would I get a lots of hands on experience if I were to pursue that? I am volunteering at an Equestrian Therapy place every Friday but It's all out doors and i'm not that kind of person. I was thinking more like people that do therapy with the kids like at texas children's or something. I don't know if that makes sense but i'm wanting a personal hands on experience doing therapy with hand cap kids.
