What to expect in Air Force tech school?

What is it like in tech school as far as day to day life and free time? College like? Does it have the same types of academic stress as a university or is it a little more watered down? Parties..etc...Please be informative but brief and it would help if these answers came from actual airmen who experienced it but I'm open to listening to anyone with good intelligent information.
