Should we stop fishing and eating tuna and salmon?

salmon have been decreasing in number for many years due to over fishing, there are farmed salmon but salmon farms can be bad for the environment and can help the spread of disease which can be bad for wild populations. Sardines are a very changeable stock which can have very high numbers one year and very low ones the year after, this is often because of environmental changes. therefore they are vulnerable to both fishing and to the environment, and so should be managed carefully. for more information try looking up the ICES website, International Council for the Exploration of the Sea, it should also be in French, or look up the Europa.eu website which has information on how fisheries in Europe are managed.
