Why do people call me a hick!? :/?

like people from diff. states who moved here from like michigan or wisconsin say that i and everybody else have southern accents.. like seriously, what do you expect?! this is freakin arkansas! and we aren't even that country, it just depends on where you live! and why do we get in trouble at skl when we call them northerners/yankees?! lame.
